Nissan announced its new sports car design and performance, the 2010 Nissan 370Z Roadster. The 370Z Roadster offers everything the hardtop 370Z Coupe does and more. 370Z Roadster comes with more classic open-air sports car driving excitement and more refinement than any Z convertible that has ever come before, including a standard automatic latching power top and Nissan Intelligent KeyTM. Also offered are an array of technology and convenience features, including the first-ever Z® Roadster-available heating and cooling ventilated net seats, satellite radio and advanced Nissan Navigation System. The new Z® Roaster is offered in two well-equipped models – 370Z Roadster and the 370Z Touring Roadster. Nissan Nissan 370Z Roadster Joins 370Z Coupe in Nissan Showrooms In Late Summer 2009.

The wait is over, the Roadster is here and the 370Z line-up is even more exciting than ever. While the quality, performance and thrills of Nissan’s much loved Coupe have already made it a hit with sports car fans, the 370Z range is now complete following the arrival of the stunning Roadster version. Anyone wanting the ultimate wind-in-the-hair performance will have a choice of two trim levels – the standard 370Z Roadster or the GT Pack. Crucially, all models come with the same 3.7-litre V6 petrol engine which is at the heart of every 370Z. Now compliant with the latest Euro 5 emissions regulations, the V6 packs a 328 PS punch to go with its glorious engine note.

Even standard Roadster models come equipped with newly designed 18-inch alloy wheels, electrically adjustable seats, an engine start/stop button, Bluetooth connectivity with steering wheel mounted controls and Bi Xenon headlamps. Upgrade to the GT Pack and the list of standard kit grows to include black suede and leather seats, an 8 speaker BOSE audio system, 19-inch forged alloy wheels and cruise control. Every inch the understudy to the mighty GT-R supercar, the 370Z’s performance is far from diluted in Roadster form.

Best of all, this can all be experienced with the roof down. The Roadster’s black hood not only gives an authentic convertible look and feel, but its shape has been styled to look great up or down. The one motion closed-to-open movement takes around 20 seconds and a specially developed full body-colour hard tonneau cover helps to eliminate wind turbulence at speed.

Nissan has revealed their latest innovation in air conditioning systems - and it's a good one. The "Forest AC" controls the aroma and humidity to help create an optimal interior environment for the occupants. The system uses a number of advanced technologies and is designed to recreate the refreshing climate, fragrance and natural breezes of relaxing forest settings. It was developed based on the results of a joint research study with the Tokyo University of Science on the effects of aroma on human mental activity.

NISMO will offer 370Z buyers two sport packages that can be combined. The Nismo S-Tune Aero Package includes a redesigned front bumper spoiler, side skirts, rear bumper spoiler, trunk spoiler, and floor mate for a total of 411,000 Yen.Nissan's performance and tuning arm, Nissan Motorsport - or Nismo - is prepping an S-Tune package for Japanese buyers of the all-new 2009 370Z, but so far there's been no official word that the kit would be headed to the U.S. Now a report has emerged that the kit will be coming to America, and it will be here by June 2009.
It's not yet clear if the S-Tune kit for the 370Z - available in both 'Aero' and 'Performance' packages - will be available pre-packaged or if they will again be special-order pieces that can be put together to 'build your own'. If the report holds true, however, we only have to wait six months to find out.
This time someone managed to scan NISMO's official brochure providing us with further details on the S-Tune package for the 370Z. Even though everything looks Japanese to us, the black and white scans tell us that apart from the bodykit that comprises front and rear lip spoilers, side sills, a rear wing and larger alloy wheels, the S-Tune package will also include a full sport exhaust system and suspension and brake upgrades.
Today we bring you more pictures of the Nissan 370Z NISMO S-Tune Package adding to the already leaked collection we saw earlier.

Nissan Land Glider Concept
Nissan has revealed the Land Glider, a new proposal for urban mobility which will be showcased at this year’s Tokyo Motor Show. The Nissan Land Glider concept is a tiny electric vehicle that features a computer controlled steering system that leans the car into the turns. The driver is seated centrally in the cabin with space for a single passenger directly behind in the narrow cabin. At least, it looks like that's where the passenger would sit. Although the photos clearly show a driver's four-point harness, none of the pictures show a rear seat belt.
The steering wheel has been replaced with what looks like a flight yoke. The rear view mirrors have been replaced by cameras and monitors. The dashboard definitely looks like it belongs on a vehicle of the future.
The Land Glider has a potential to become a new means of transportation in urban areas; its linear acceleration and the narrow body, which only an ultra-compact, ultra lightweight EV can achieve, will help reduce traffic congestion and promote effective use of parking space.Shift of the center of gravity by leaning provides a new, exciting sense of driving and a powerful, crisp ride.

Nissan Land Glider Concept
Nissan's planning and design team were given a challenge: to explore new forms of zero emissions mobility that redefined existing segments. The result was a radical new vehicle that combines the company's vision for future urban mobility with Nissan's great driving heritage.
In creating the Land Glider concept, Nissan planners and designers have conceived a totally new form of personal zero-emissions mobility that combines clever, new driving experiences, all in the one compact, 4-wheeled package.
With more than 50% of the world's population living in big cities in the near future, designers latched onto motorcycles as a credible base to start the design process.
While the agility, thrills and freedom of bikes inspired the designers and engineers, an extra spice was added to the mix. Tandem architecture became the obvious choice. A unique two-seater, cocoon-like structure sitting on a zero emission powertrain. With fourwheel stability and a sense of safety that originates from a tilting cabin, the Land Glider will appeal to both two- and four-wheel driving enthusiasts.
Targeted at city dwellers of all generations, the Land Glider is a serious motoring statement of the new era of mobility that Nissan intends to lead.
Cocoon in the Shell
"The exterior incorporates a soft, sleek-looking body that appears to be protected by a special armor," explains Takashi Nakajima, Nissan's Project Design Director. "And while it is very mechanical in its nature, the four-wheeler boasts a dynamic body design that almost seems alive. As part of Nissan's expanding zero emission family, the Land Glider exudes a clean, friendly attitude."

Nissan Land Glider Concept
The vehicle's two-seater tandem layout is enveloped in what seems like the canopy of a glider, while its unique ‘tilt' setup employs a special leaning function that holds occupants firmly in place even when the vehicle is cornering at angles. In developing the Land Glider, Nissan designers have created a two-seater that offers the sense of security of a cocoon, but delivers real driving pleasure.
Described as a ‘personal city commuter,' the Land Glider features steering-by-wire and a lean capability when cornering - like a motorcycle - that enables the vehicle and its tires to lean by up to 17 degrees. Able to turn sharply at nearly any speed, the Land Glider employs sensors for vehicle speed, steering angle and yaw rate to instantly calculate the level of lean required to negotiate a corner. All the driver must do is turn and the cabin will lean accordingly. By enabling the car to lean, designers have succeeded in minimizing vehicle width and tire tread width, thus achieving a sleek, futuristic look.
With drive coming from two electric motors in the rear powered by lithium-ion batteries mounted beneath the floor, the zero-emissions Land Glider is quick off the mark. The car also features a non-contact charging system that can be charged whilst shopping at a supermarket or stopping at a motorway service station. This system enables vehicles to be charged wirelessly at locations where the infrastructure exists.
To ensure maximum safety whilst driving, engineers have fitted a car-robotics style crash avoidance system in which sensors mounted in the body detect other vehicles in the same way as fish swim in schools without colliding. This system directs the vehicle's path away from any obstacles.*
Whilst Land Glider is a concept car created for the Tokyo Motor Show. It should not be regarded as a mere design study. This leaning machine gives a clear direction to how a future small car from Nissan could look in congested cities...a clue of what Nissan means by new era of mobility.

The 2009 Nissan GT-R, the first Skyline GT-R model to be released in the United States, offers performance unlike any Nissan sports car in the history of the Japanese automaker. The "Skyline" moniker has officially been dropped, but the 2009 GT-R, which was delivered to its first US customers in July 2008,represents a new era for the Skyline GT-R, the most storied sports car in Japanese automotive history.
The Nissan Skyline R34 GTR came to life, the latest model, and the best GTR yet. Styling is superb with an all-new much more aggressive shape; it looks like a car to be reckoned with. The R34 GTR looks and feels like it got the best from both of the R32 and R33 models in one package.Concerning the design,it is to consider that the R34 GT-R is a pumped-up version of a family sedan, not a fashionable piece of automotive-design-art like ItalianClick for a larger R34 Nissan Skyline GTR picture supercars. On a GT-R, every scoop and bulge has its function intended to form a piece of technical art and to in crease its efficiency as a street rocket.
..................Skyline R34 GTR Nissan Super Sports Car

The interior of Nissan Skyline R34 GTR is simple, sporty, and luxurious, with plenty of head and leg room for taller drivers. Seats are comfy for long trips yet still hold you in when cornering hard. Center gauges have been replaced with a LCD screen. This shows loads of information like, throttle position, boost pressure, torque split, a built in G-meter, and it has a com-port so you can download your trips data onto a laptop.
This car is a technology showcase trying to make head-turning technology and performance available for everyday-use. And with all its gadgets, it offers a very involving driving experience, but at the same time fulfills the requirements of a daily commuter. The Skyline GT-R shines as a good compromisebetween a pure sports car and a sedan, almost as radical and edgy as the former and almost as useful as the latter.

And it makes this compromise asconvincing as hardly any other car does. These refinements make driving the GTR a pleasure with every aspect improved. Steering is responsive and grip is phenomenal making Nissan Skyline R34 GTR a true cornering machine. Ride quality is on the firm side but harsh bumps are absorbed well, but this is asports car after all.
The RB26DETT engine still remains but again improvements where made and because of this the engine has become smoother and quieter. The torque curve hasimproved and remains flatter throughout the rev range, 400nm is achieved at 4,400rpm this has made the engine more flexible.

Turbo chargers where also revised featuring a dual ball bearing core which reduced lag and improved the power band. The gearbox was replaced by a 6-speedgetrag which features, shorter ratios, and a shorter throws. Acceleration times have improved, 0-100 is achieved in 4.9
seconds and the 400m sprint in completed in 12.9.
